Glow Up Planner: Free Weekly Template

7 min read · Glowmaxx

A glow up planner is a simple weekly system with four parts: a weekly page with three goals, a daily habit tracker, a skin and hair log, and a photo check-in. You don't need to buy one on Etsy. Copy the free template below into Notion, your notes app or a notebook and you're set up in 15 minutes.

The hardest part of any glow up plan is knowing what to write in the "goals" box, and Glowmaxx answers that from one selfie by showing which of five changeable areas is lowest. Start my glow-up

What goes in a glow up planner

Most paid planners are 80 pages of pretty fonts. You need about four.

Here's the whole glow up planner template, at a glance:

Page What it's for How often you touch it
Weekly page 3 goals, 1 focus, 1 reward Sunday, 5 minutes
Daily habit tracker Tick boxes for 5-7 habits Every night, 30 seconds
Skin and hair log What you used, how it looked Every day or every other day
Photo check-in Same-spot photo + notes Once a week

That's it. Anything more and you'll spend your glow-up decorating a planner instead of glowing up. (Been there. The washi tape era was a lot.)

Rules that make a glow up plan actually work

Weekly page template

Copy this into a doc, a Notion page or the top of a notebook spread. Fill it every Sunday night.

This week's focus (one word): ________

Example: a filled-in weekly glow up plan

Here's what a real week could look like for someone in grade 11 / Year 12:

Notice the goals are boring. Boring wins. (If the party is Saturday, our birthday selfie ideas post has you covered.)

Daily habit tracker

This is your glow up tracker. Put 5 to 7 habits down the side and the days across the top.

Habit ideas for your glow up schedule

Pick from these, don't take them all:

Want the full menu? The physical glow up list has 40 things grouped by skin, hair, grooming, posture and style.

Skin and hair log

This is the page everyone thinks is extra until it saves them. When you break out or your hair goes weird, the log tells you what changed.

DATE | PRODUCTS USED | SKIN (1-5) | HAIR (1-5) | NOTES
     | | | | (sleep, stress, new product, period, sport)

Example entries:

Two weeks of this and you'll know more about your skin than any random TikTok can tell you.

Why rating yourself is the weak spot

Here's the problem with the 1-5 boxes: you're the judge, and your mood is the scale. Bad day? Everything's a 2. Got a nice text? Suddenly it's a 5. Self-rating drifts, and a glow up journal full of mood-based numbers can't show real progress.

Glowmaxx gives you a steady number instead. The same photo always gets the same score, so when your skin or hair score moves, it's the photo that changed, not your mood. Each check-in drops five scores out of 10 on your timeline, and the photo itself is thrown away after scoring. Start my glow-up

Photo check-in page

The photo check-in is the most honest part of any glow up planner. Do it once a week:

  1. Same spot. Face the same window.
  2. Same time. Morning light is most consistent.
  3. Same distance. Arm's length, phone at eye level.
  4. No filter, no beauty mode.
  5. Write two lines: one thing better, one thing to work on.
WEEK __ | Photo taken: Y / N
Better this week: ________________
Work on next week: ________________

After four weeks, put week one next to week four. That comparison is the payoff.

Notion, notes app or paper?

There's no "best" glow up planner app. There's the one you open.

Glow up planner Notion (free)

Good if you already use Notion for school. Make a database with a row per day and checkbox columns for each habit. Add a "Weekly" page that links to it. Pros: searchable, pretty, free. Cons: easy to spend two hours on icons.

Notes app (digital glow up planner)

The underrated option. Pin one note called "glow up 2026." Use checklists for daily habits. Paste in the weekly template. It's on your lock screen in two taps. Best for people who forget things that aren't on their phone.

Paper (glow up planner printable free)

Copy the templates above into a notebook, or paste them into Google Docs and print. You get a free glow up planner PDF by hitting "Download as PDF." Pros: satisfying ticks, no notifications distracting you. Cons: you have to remember it exists.

What people on Reddit say

Glow up planner Reddit threads tend to land in the same place: simple beats pretty, and the planner that survives is the one with the fewest pages. That matches everything above.

Prefer something visual on the wall instead? Pair this planner with a glow up vision board. Board for the "why," planner for the "what today."

Fill in this week's goals in the next minute

Your planner is only as good as the three goals you write on the weekly page. Take one selfie in your browser (no app to install) and Glowmaxx scores skin, hair, grooming, posture and angle, and light and fit out of 10, then gives you three moves for today aimed at your lowest score. Its daily routine keeps a streak for you, so your tracker practically fills itself.

FAQ

Where can I get a glow up planner PDF free?

Copy the weekly page, habit tracker, skin and hair log and photo check-in templates from this post into Google Docs, then use File > Download > PDF. That gives you a free glow up planner printable you can reuse every week.

Is there a free glow up planner Notion template?

You can build one in about 10 minutes: a database with one row per day, checkbox columns for each habit, and a linked weekly page with your three goals. Many free Notion templates exist, but a simple one you made yourself is easier to keep using.

What should a glow up plan for teens include?

Three weekly goals, five to seven tiny daily habits, a quick skin and hair log, and a weekly photo in the same light. Keep every goal about something you can change, like skin, hair, grooming, posture or style.

What's the best glow up planner app?

The best glow up planner app is the one you'll open daily, which for most people is their notes app. If you want scores and a streak instead of self-rating, Glowmaxx runs in the browser and tracks your numbers on a timeline.

How long should a glow up plan last?

Plan week by week, but judge results over about four weeks. That's long enough to see changes in a same-spot photo and short enough to stay motivated.

Take a selfie, get scored on the five things you can actually change (skin, hair, grooming, posture, light) and get today's three moves. Pay once. Your photos stay on your phone.
